This Kerosang set is used in Peranakan culture to fasten and adorn the front portion of the long, form-fitting blouse known as the Kebaya.  

We used 2 heirloom pieces to create this 

kerosang set that can be converted into other jewellery pieces too.

The heirloom pieces were a pair of diamond earrings with hoop earring and a gold bracelet with 11 brown diamonds.

The final design of the kerosang; a peacock, a flower, and a butterfly.

What makes this set one-of-a-very-unique-kind is it can be worn in 11 different ways.

We designed and created new pieces around the heirloom jewellery.
